You may have noticed that South Melbourne Market is one of our favourite places to visit. We love the vibe and, of course, they have my husband’s favourite places, Agathe Patisserie and Clement Coffee Roaster.
When we arrived at South Melbourne Market last weekend, the Port Phillip Mussel and Jazz Festival was on. Cecil Street was closed between Coventry and York Street.
It was a seafood feast for seafood lovers. Unfortunately we already had our sushi lunch at Sushi Kaiten and we were there just to get our sweet fix and coffee.

Even so, Little Miss really enjoyed her day here. there were free face painting and arts & crafts for the little ones and lots of bubbles (you know how kids love bubbles).
Just a note, most off street parking bays are not free even on Sundays. We always go to South Melbourne rooftop car park where the first 2 hr is free on market days.
Check their Instagram account for more info on upcoming events. Even when there is no event, South Melbourne Market is always worth a visit!
